Thank you Cuties for all the wonderful comments. I enjoyed it so much to stitch out the creative stitches. Going to make a 2nd bag. I used 100% cotton and 5 different colours cutting in strips. Used Heat n Bond to secure it calico. And then you let go!!! PM me if you need more advise.
Marthie, what a stunning job. Just love they way it turned out. Hugs Yvonne
Wonderful job. Beautiful fabric and stitches. It is well recognized here the inspiration Bernina.
Very nice, making a bag is still on ly to do list, love the fabric
Love this , what a wonderful idea. Does the fabric have different tones or did you also create your base fabric? What kind of fabric as in how heavy is it, cotton , upholstery ??? Sorry for so many questions. I would love to try to make something like this.
Cannot believe that this is homemade. WOW Marthie, a wonderful job.
Beautiful bag. Astonishing!
The base fabric was a single color or pieces that are assembled by the point bite?
You have made a lovely bag which makes good use of decorative stitches. I would have been fun doing this with others in a class.
Just love your bag what a nice piece of work you have done here, you are very clever, regards Carol
Beautiful bag. Did you piece the fabric or was that just one beautiful piece? Love your choice of stitches and threads.
What a lovely bag you've made! I used those machine stitches a lot in the past - before embroidery machine - now only occasionally, which is a shame as your bag shows what great results can be obtained. Thanks for the inspiration!
The pattern the stitches created looks like tapestry. Like how you did your handles also.
Well done. I am sure you will enjoy using this and showing it with pride.
Awesome i think we all would love to have a bag like this hugs:):)
