Towel.

A client asked me to embroider a name on a towel : Nova Lyn. I had embroidered the embossed shield and the top feet when the phone rang so I stopped the machine. It was the client who told me she had misspelled the name, it should be Nova Lynn. She should not have called a minute later!! So back to the drawing board (Embird in this case), redigitised, loaded the new design and after a bit of fiddling to get correct placement I could stitch out the name and the lower feet.

Wow you're good. They sure knew to ask the right lady for the job. I would have messed that up for sure. She will be tickled pink when she sees this.

Great save!! When I have to turn the machine off between color stops I note the thread color and write down the stitch # and when I come back and turn the the machine back on I sequence through the stitches for that color until I get to that #.and back track a few stitches and resume. Tt surly helps. Is that tour design of the little tiny feet. So cute. Would be cute on a baby blanket too!

I do too. In this case I had only stopped it, not turned it off. But I had too position the name in the middle of the embossed shield.

Phew! Great timing. Pity they hadn't called before you started the project, of course, but lucky you'd stopped where you had. It looks lovely.

Great save! I love the design! Good thing you had not started the letters... It could have become very complicated to Fix!

Thank you all for your comments.
It was very fortunate I did not have to undo the name, I hate that, especially on towelling, and it takes ages.
