Please don't be afraid to go to the doctor. The chances are slim it's cancer, but whatever it is you need to get the thyroid regulated. I, too, take thyroid pill, for over 40 yrs, & sometimes things can cause you to need to adjust your meds. You want to be around & active enough to love & kiss on that new grand baby!!! So get to it & be all ready to welcome the little one in July!!
My God, that´s not fair, you make me cry. My father had cancer and suffered a lot for 8 years, all this is still very much on my mind. I do not know if I could have a normal life if I knew I was in such situation. I feel that life escape me be beneath my feet. Love you all and many thank´s for the friendly words and advises.

Hello, I want to encourage you to go to the doctor.Sometimes, meds have to be adjusted, it doesn't always mean "cancer" when we have a problem. Even so, if it is, you do want to discover it early. My sister and my daughter have both had thyroid cancer. They removed 1 side of my sisters and both of my daughters, she will take med the rest of her life but she has made 5yrs cancer free. Please go get checked and end your worry. Like I said, maybe your meds need to be adjusted.Congratulations on your expected grandchild, is this your first? I do hope you feel better soon and Merry Christmas to you and your family-Toogie
I too have that problem, and must be very careful that other meds or food don't react with my thyroid meds, which has happened. I take them first thing in the am with a large glass of water and do not eat or take any meds for at least 1 hour after, and it makes a big difference. Hope that helps.
Ohh, I take my med always without water but also first thing in the morning. The prescription tell´s that I can eat always half an hour later. I thake this med for over 15 years and I never had problems but in the last month
I don´t feel well and my heart seems to beat slower. My whole organism is slow. Do not want to think about cancer and in the moment I´m afraid to go to the doctor again.
I am so sorry to hear that you have been sick. I also suffered from an overactive thyroid but it has been fixed. So hang in there. I hope it is able to be fixed soon.
In my case there is nothing you can fix because my thyroid is not overactive . The problem is it´s hypoactive and the tablets are not helping. I feel always tired as if I were an old lady

I had thyroid cancer and they took it out on 1 side and killed the other years ago. I take 175mcg of Synthroid at 3am at night when I wake to go to the bathroom. It is very important to drink a glass of water when taking. Also the generics do not work for me. I always know if my med is working because if not I am tired, fingernails split and break and my skin is very dry. A very important organ.
You are so right grannyh, years ago when I had heard of thyroid problems never thought that this organ is so important.
