My step-daughter asked for a Christmas bandanna for her dog, so here he is modelling it. The fabric is called Aussie Christmas Cockatoo and came from Spotlight in Adelaide. I added his name in a curly font that is standard on my machine, and luckily matches the curly font printed on the fabric. Another time I would place his name parallel to the edge and closer to it.

Max is looking very happy with his new clobber, and no wonder! I think the positioning looks good as it is and the red for his name was a great choice. Have you tied it on or done a collar wrap or a piece of elastic to join it? Maybe my current visiting greyhound might like a bandanna as well, to show how 'Lucky' he is :)

I tied it on by knotting the ends together which seems to work well, and is simple to sew.

Thankyou for the welcome Chris. I have only been doing machine embroidery for about ten months and get great value from the support and inspiration I find on Cuties. I live in the east of Adelaide, in a quiet area with a lot of large gum trees and bird life. Regards, Deidre
