so you suffer from SADD & SACF
how much fabric did you tell yourself you needed to buy to finish this quilt I think we all need to make this quilt to reduce our stash .I like it great idea
the only fabric i had to buy for this quilt was the black for the borders, sashing and backing and the wadding. For the binding i sewed a whole heap of scrapppy strips together.
GREAT idea and so country looking===LOVE it. the black sashing really set it off.Funny how those stash of our just keep growing and growing----Flowers to you for sharing another great project.
Ricky, if you have two more boxes - you could easily just make me one and send it to me and then you might not have any boxes, left. My bed is a queen size. Wow, this is lovely. Great work! *4U Shirlene
Looks really great, love the way u used your scraps, mine stash seems to grow too
Love what you did with the pieces. The window pane is a great effect.
Your quilt is just wonderful. What a neat idea for using scraps.
Love it mpo, great way to use up those scraps, ideas, ideas, thanks...*4U
This is a beautiful scrap quilt. Like the colours and the black sashing. I recently read about a-mile-a-minute quilts and started. But that's as far as I got. Seeing this is a nice reminder to do something with the contents of that box under my sewing table and go through the remnant and scrap boxes, find a few fat quarters.. Oh dear, this project page - so many great ideas and so many excuses to do something else first. Flower for you.
This is beautiful and the black sashing really sets it off. Good use of scraps - and just how is the scarp stash getting bigger? Could it be you are like the rest of us?
OF course!! I have been quilting for about 10 years and through nothing over 1 inch out.I have 2 BIG boxes of scraps under my table.
This is beautiful i have only just started quilting i was more into dressmaking but i have to say this is another of these things that feed our addictive habbits. * for you
This is a work of art, beautiful. Funny how the stash grows when you're not using it ! I have the same problem with knitting yarn !! *4U
