I agree!! Too much for children. They do not know how to process the imformation. They think it is alright to hurt. Suzanne
Again I agree with the parrenting of today but I blame the elders for letting the gov't get involved, we can't swat our kids when they need it!! Kids can turn their parrents in..... I am so thankful that I don't have to raise a child in todays environment, I'd be a wreck.
I got spanked and so did my kids and we all turned out fine. I still to this day have my paddle on the wall in the kitchen. The kids had one of those bats with the rubber string and ball on the end. When it broke I kept it and when the kids misbehaved, I would take it off the wall. Never used it, but they knew it was there. I always gave them three chances, but they never knew if it would be 1, 2 or 3. They still talk about it today and I put their names on it, then the GK wanted their names added to it.
I totaly agree. Children have too much freedom and no dicipline or respect at all. Somehow a six year old got a hold of his Mom's credit card, and downloaded 3 or 4 games from the internet. He was so proud and dear Mommy didn't even punish him. If it was my kid, he would be grounded until he gets married. Of course it starts at home.
Blessings to all, Rachel

I agree with this entirely and refuse to have the TV even on when my grnadchildren are here. I prefer to spend quality time with them, whether its out in the yard playing or doing chores or something or playing games or baking and cooking with them in my kitchen or reading stories to them.
I think our children should be allowed to pray in school, and if your religion is different than others than that prayer time or descision to not pray should also be tolerated as well, but so say that our children shoul not be allowed to pray in school is wrong when we encourage it in our prisons. By than its to late!

I agree with this, but we also need to bring God back into our lives both at home and in schools.
I agree with you. I am adding my prayers. Our children see so much violence and horror that they are becoming immune to the pain and suffering that it causes.
Exactly my point, its all they know, so before its too late, we must put a stop to it. What is the world going to be like when they are older.
