Adorable and fun Glenda - you do such wonderful things for your friends. Merry Christmas.
love this idea and a great way to make some fast items for my friends charity stall and cut down on a huge pile of fleece left overs. thanks for the reminder and great work too.Merry Christmas
Pretty and quick sounds like fun. I will have to check my fleece baskets. Thank you for sharing.
Doesn't take much and a good way to use up leftovers ...Thank you for looking ...
They look so pretty hanging there. Great gifts to give.
What wonderful scarves! I love them. You could do them in school colors, too. ;)
I have a big bag of fleece remanents, mostly 10-12 inches wide strips cut off the end of bolt so nice and long.Would these strips work okay? Do you just sew 2 layers together then cut as for a rag quilt? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Yours are such nice color combinations-Mine mightr be a little wild!
If you google Fleece Scarves, you will find all kinds of sites with pictures and easy instructions. The way I did mine I have explained in the message to Carolyn .... you should do fine with the bits and pieces you have...depending on the thickness you can combine more than 2 colors...have a look on the different sites....have fun..
I just watched how to do these on a video and they look like something i would do IF only i had more fabric lol. They turned out awesome Glenda hugs hugs
Thanks Carolyn - they are so easy really I cut them 6" by the
width of the fleece it varied so some are shorter than others. Machine stitched the two colors together down the center with my walking foot, then came back up on each side about 1/4" they said in one set of instructions to do only one row of stitching down the center, another one said 1 row down the center and 1/2" row down each side, but I found the 3 rows much better with only 1/4" much better. I had the fabric left over from a quilt I made...Hugs Glenda
