I am looking for a pattern for a nice big Christmas Stocking - yes, I know it's too late for this year, but at the rate I', sewing, I might just have them all done for next year:) I would like to embroider a name and little Christmas design on each stocking. I have an Elna 8007, so my hoop is only 4 X 4, but I can re-size the designs as I also have the converter box. Can anyone help please?? xx

Don't know if this is big enough for you - think that you could probably enlarge it if you wish ?

Thank you, we've been away for a few days, hence my reply only now. I will most certainly try it out.

I made the pattern for my stocking . The easiest way for you to do this is to embroider the design of your choice on a large piece of fabric. Then center the embroidered design on your pattern and cut it out. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas, Susan

Thank you, problem is I always get my designs off-centre! I will mark the place where I think it should be, but it's always either too much left or not enough right. Sometimes, I just amaze myself.....!!!

Hi Franciv,

I made my own. I just drew out a large shaped stocking and made them in Hessian (Burlap to you guys). I put a Christmas design as close to the centre as possible. Have a go - there are some lovely designs for the 4x4 hoop. Love and blessings Chris
