Well everyone it is now the shortest day of the year - the day the Secret Santa Gifts were timed to arrive. Now I did ask everyone to post a picture of the gift they received "in a thread I would start after 21st December". As some people took that as the signal to begin ripping wrapping apart, I suppose I should invite pictures to appear here. I know it is a bit early and many of you have the willpower to wait for three more days, but it is obvious that not everyone can!

thank you very much SS sorry I cut the side of my finger off right after I recieved you gift so I am not suppose to be on the computer due to getting infection again For some reason they say it is a dirt key boards that will do that. but any way I love my wall hanging I have never thought of doing fsl on a wall hanging but it came out awesome so I am going to do fsl letters and put my grandsons name on it to make it stand out more. When the Dr. says I can sew again hopeful soon craft fairs are starting up and I am not ready. Again I love it and Thank You

Good luck and I hope you package arrives very soon!!Here in the states we have a real issues with mail going to and coming from TX or at least certain parts. My postmaster has me put delivery cinfirmation and everything I send that way so they can trace where it gets hung up.

I think it would be good to put up pics of those others you may have pics of now, Sue. That way at least the makers can see a little bit of feedback on the items they've made. The intended recipients don't need to be named, but maybe a country they went to if it doesn't make them too obvious. There may be good reasons for their lack of communication -we never know what's going on in the lives of others.

Although I have not received mine yet, I do know that the mail has been horrendously slow in the east due to our abundant snow storms in the past month. In the meanwhile, I am enjoying looking at all the wonderful gifts and ideas!

132773My SS made this table runner with tassels at either end , double sided so you can flip it over to reveal another design .The camera seems to have a problem getting the colours right ,even though I waited till it was a sunny morning taking the photo with the flash & lights on over the table .The actual colour is a light to mid grey not blue.Thank you SS it looks good on the table.

What a beautiful table you have to display your gift on. If I received something like that, I'd need to clear a space :) That's a little different having a 2 sided tablerunner. I never seem to make mine in 10 minutes like the site suggests, either, LOL.

5215It is finally Chirstmas here in Florida, USA - well, about 30 minutes ago. The turkery is on slow cook in the oven, and I have baked the pecan pie, made the chocolate hershey pie, done a few things for tomorrow when the family comes in, and am having some quiet time here just for me. I want to give a special thank you for what Sue has done and organized so well. And to also thank my SS for the lovely mug rugs. I think I know just where they will be used. I often sit at my computer that sits on my old roll top desk, and sit my drink on the pull out shelf - now I will not worry about messing up the finish. Thank you SS you did a great job, and something very useful for me. The angel will be put with my collection in my sewing room.

What I haven't told my Cutie family is that for the last month my Mother has been gravely ill and I have tried to keep being cheerful but it has been very hard as those who have loved ones ill at this time would know. Mum opened the parcel for me and my, not so professional photographer, hubby took the photos. I have Mum at her home for a few hours from hospital for Christmas lunch. 42046I got my as gift.and opened it and love it. I posted a pic.last night on chat page .I tried to put it here but did not work . I am trying again. Merry Christmas to all. It worked this time my gift are just what I needed I am always burning my fingers on bowls.here I am using it under my plate.

It looks like a pot holder on curved to fit under the bowls and dishes. This is a great idea. SS, I think you should have made one for all of us. Great job. And thank you to the person who put up the link for us.

7161OK I gave in to temptation. But it was the weight of the box that really made me cave in. It is a lovely carving board, really too pretty to use as such so I think I will just let it sit on my counter for decoration for the time being. Thank you Secret Santa for such a marvelous gift.

Just lovely. I'd use it as a fruit/cheese tray.But I can see it surrounded by crackers, cheese and pears.just adore fruit.

5141well for me it was a good thing that I did open it as I will use it for the holidays as since this is my first time I didn't know that I should wait till the 25th. this was I can give it the attention that it sew deserves as on the 25th I will very busy as I am sure we all will be.well I have done it now! I have opened my Secret Santa Gift & I have to say I love it, it is reversable too! The card is just sew thoughtful in it she says:she lives in fruit country & this fabric represents that quite well & then she goes on to say "it has been a joy to make this gift for you" isn't that lovely! I am truly blessed & I want her to know that this is something I will be wearing on Sunday when we have one of our Christmas doo's & then again Christmas Day & then again...........well you get the idea!
