Merry Christmas to all of you.
It will be rather lonely for Doran and I this year, no children or grandchildren in China. There are Christmas trees in the malls and some stores. We hear Christmas music occasionally. It allows the true meaning of Christmas to rise to the surface.
We are blessed with new friends to share the Holidays with and we are grateful for health, a warm apartment, and the ability to communicate with our family.

I've wondered how you and Rick are doing. I am missing my children and grandchildren something terribly. It is good to see you on CE. I hope you are feeling okay.

You shouldn't feel lonely, Twee! Just relish the solitude, quietness, and the spirit of this Christmas season, feeling blessed, as you said, that all is well in your life. Sharing your holidays with friends in China should be a wonderful experience, while you can still reach out to family!!

Our Chinese friends have been so good to us, even though they don't celebrate Christmas they go out of their way to help us celebrate Christmas..
