Thery are all so lovely, please explain what the memorial is all about? sorry for not knowing.
Sorry Yes of course I have heard of this sad event. Just did not no there was a collection of snowflakes...Did the school ask for these or how did this support of love come about.
Your snowflakes are beautiful. I made a few and was getting ready to package them for mailing yesterday, when I read the post about them not accepting any more. I am so pleased to see that they will take them after all!
Please send your snowflakes to the address in this message. We have been given the "Green Light" to send our FSL snowflakes! Yahoo!!
Message about SNOWFLAKES FOR SANDY HOOK COMMUNITY. PLEASE READ
Hi everyone,
After reading about disappointment of not being able to send our lovely FSL Snowflakes to the Memorial..I wrote a letter last night to the PTA...Here is the response I got. I have sent another note asking if there is something specific we need to put on our packages and haven't heard yet...When I do, I will post it in this thread.
Here is the reply:
Please send your snowflakes. If you have worked that hard to create them , then I will glady share them with our Sandy Hook Family,
Thank you,

Oh! How nice! It takes so long to make the the snowflakes and I was disappointed in not being able to send the ones I made although my son is enjoying them in his room.
A beautiful set they are! Mine went in the mail before Christmas so I hope they can use them.
My thought is to send some to the parents, brothers and sisters to keep as they will last a lot longer than paper ones.
These are lovely and we appreciate the time it took you to stitch them all out. Your tree will be beautiful with these on next year.
I just finished mine last night too. I takes a while to stitch them out. Probably school teachers had their students make snowflakes before Christmas break. That's what teachers at my school used to do. I can imagine thousands of paper ones showing up.
WOW did you ever do a good job. Made with love I am sure. Any one would enjoy having these. Thank you for sharing. Just beautiful!!
well it looks like many of us made them & for me I think that I will use them in another way maybe to stick inside Christmas cards next year since I have made them already! This way they will still bring good cheer to others in a much smaller way of course! they are lovely!
I'm thinking since so many folks have made snowflakes for Sandy Hook and now need to do something with them as they are not accepting anymore that all schools should display them in January! Get together with your schools people and make this happen as a show of support from all of us who feel the pain!
I'm sure these would have been some of the most beautiful snowflakes they would have received.
Your snowflakes are beautiful. It was so thoughtful of you to do this for Sandy Hook. Like someone else said, maybe your local elementary school would love to have them for their tree. I know our school has a tree in the lobby of the school and in each classroom.
wow what a sight, perhaps you can donate them to your local school so they can show there solidarity to Sandy Hook
This is such a lovely range of snowflakes. I especially like those that have two colours in them.
Die sehn alle ganz toll aus, mann kann sie auch am Fenster aufhängen sieht auch bestimmt ganz toll aus
what a shame. Maybe it looks good with a ribbon on youre christmascards next year. I'm shore they look also great in your tree
They look beautiful and will decorate your home next year :o)
Where did you read that they don't need more snowflakes? Haven't seen this on their webpage. Thought about sending a link to emblibrary cause they still have their text about sending the snowflakes under their free snowflake.
Greetings, Bettina
Very pretty - that is sad - I have a bunch, too. I bet the ones they have received have been paper and not embroidery.
They'll definitely look great on the tree next year, they are all absolutely beautiful. :)
