Looks nice, How did you finish the top ,zipper or other and did you use a veltex to give it shape?
The top is open but there is a zipped pocket in the other side of the bag. It is quite a stiff furnishing fabric so it didn't need any help.
This looks really good, Sue. Nice to see a bit of hardware in use too. I'm used to using a bit of hardware for dog leads, collars etc, so I notice it elsewhere. Finishes things off nicely. Maybe you could add it to your Folksy shop if you really don't need another one -and if the rules allow :)
Glad you noticed - the handle was one that came with a ukulele case! I actually made the bag to make use of it.
I love the statement and you can never too many bags. Only thing about having a lot of them is having to move the contents from one to the other - and I have quite a few with lots of pockets, each with its specific content.
I don't know if they have QVC (a shopping channel) in Holland, but if they do, there is a purse insert with lots of pockets meant to be lifted whole and moved from purse to purse without a lot of trouble. I can't remember the name of the manufacturer, but it should be under 'handbags' or 'purses'. Hee hee hee, ok, now you can go make even MORE bags, since it will be easier!!
Thanks Marji, i know that's an option. I have used a small leather purse as an insert, but it gets buried at the bottom. Which would not stop me making or buying new large bags that hold everything except the kitchen sink (why on earth would I want to take that with me any way) LOL
I use an ITH zipped purse to keep those odds and ends in. I don't have that many as I don't do mobile phones and make-up. LOL
Bags and shoes, you can never have too many! I love this. You did a wonderful job. ;)
Very nice Bag. and thank you I nearly missed this design.
Hugs Pam.
It looks fantastic in the black & white color scheme. Great job!
This looks great! I would love a closet for purses, One big one for dresses, one for jeans.etc.Then again would take all day to make up my mind. Like this size thanks for sharing.
