Eleen dit is absoluut fantasties. Jy en Katulle het uitstekende werk gelewer.
Absolutely amazing! What a wonderful talent Katulle shares with us and you did a terrific job with the embroider (and the hoop was such a great idea).
What a beautiful memory of your father. He will always be with you.
on what kind of machine did you make this?
I have 1 beautifull picture from my dogs who died, but i don t have the software for it.

I stitched it out on a Elna machine. The digitizing (programming) was done by a very talented Cutie (Katullie). I do not know what software she used. About a year ago she said she was looking for some challenges and said we can ask her. I then emailed het a jpeg photo (not even a good quality as I scanned it in form a actual photo) and then she send me a JEF file with instructions.. She has even put a frame around it which I have ommitted in this particular stitchout. The embroidery looks just like the photo - it was amazing to see the picture unfold.
I've done some of these... cute idea, also, is on a lamp shade... or between two layers of glass hung in a window.
Yes at frst I was looking for the double glass frames but could not find anything I really liked and when clearing out some of my drawers I thought of using the hoop.
That has turned out so well. Both Ekaterina and you have done a fantastic job on bringing that project to 'life'.
Thank you. Yes, the photo is of my dad who passed away a year and a half ago. She did this for me more than a year ago and I've stitched it out then but never finished it off. It is still difficult and you are right for me he comes more alive.
Wow that is amazing. Looks great I cant believe its embroidery It really came out great the colors and the design. Great work.
Thanks. I should have used a darker color thread for the face. But in the end it was just as I wanted it.
With the camera's flash, it is difficult to capture the light effect but I have tried to show you. :)
