How to make the bag which was "Inhislovinggrip's" SS

gift. I've copied this from the SS - I hope you can follow it.

It takes two yards of Material for the bag and 4inch for each handle all are the length of the material you take wrong side together sew down the sides that was not cut. Flip and iron very important sew same side to make a casing for elastic it depends on what size elastic you use I prefer the wide. Put elastic in measure in 6 inches on both sides( elastic is 7inch long) sew elastic on that 6 inch make both sides no for the cut side turn under 1/4 in then turn down to the 6 inch make and sew across this will make your pocket for the handles to make handles you need 4inches of material for each the length of the material and I use 3 1/2 inches of batting x length of material turn in 1/4 inch on both sides then fold in to middle use a zig zag stitch to close leave about 3 inch on both sides open put through casing and sew to edges together the zig zag the rest of the way do for both handle

HI everyone, Here is a similar bag - bit larger but instructions are good. Made with elastic in front and back and handles in sides. You would be able to reverse and have the elastic in the ends and handles in front and back sections. You have to register on the site and the bag is called fat quarter bag. Lots of other nice patterns there as well. Hope this helps, Lyn

The link has pictures, but it's not in English. Google doesn't translate the instructions, but if you take a good look, it might make more sense to you.

If someone makes one, please post pictures as you go. I'm not very good at printed directions sometimes, either.

Thanks for this Sue, but I'm absolutely hopeless with written instructions, fly to Mars, turn left at Venus, right on towards Saturn, there's a big crater on the moon, etc. etc. etc. LOLOL!!!

But I do love the bag!!! :-)))
