Welcome to "cute" Your bag is lovely. Thanks so much for sharing your project with us. Hugs Yvonne
I love this bag. The fabric and the pattern seem like they were made for each other, even the button is spot on.. Love the handles. great job!
What a beautiful bag. Very classy looking. I kinda like those handles. I have never seen any like them. They do remind me of suspenders though. Does any one remember suspenders?
They are exactly like suspenders! They are these nifty removable bag handles that I picked up at a craft/sewing expo last year just knowing that I would have a use for them. The clips are just like suspenders and the straps are leather. Great to use while deciding what handles to put on a bag! I'm thinking I might go tortoiseshell to match the button.
Thanks for the feedback and warm welcome everyone! I've been silently 'lurking' for a while, but will definitely become more active on here now.
The fabric I used for this bag was a coarsely woven fabric so the openness of Katia's design matched really well. I did have to use a hair cloth interfacing and boning on the sides to give it structure but I was pleased with the way the elements all went together. I might even put up some more projects today!
I love this bag it is beautifully done. Love the leather for handles.
Wow, your bag is gorgeous, Katia's design was made for this bag....you did a beautiful job making the bag and design look great!
Love this!!!! Was going to make the black and white, now can't decide! Great job!!!
