I used fibreglass insect screening 36"x 40" tube & it costs about $15 Canadian. sew pricey It is really soft screening too sew it was ok to sew with but I did make sure that the raw edges were sewn over @least twice sew as not to poke holes anywhere. Plus the fabric covers all the "ends" too. probably ok to wash but will hang to dry. Thanks everyone Hugs Loralye
Well done, Loralye. You've used lots of great fabrics and some different hardware too -it has turned out really well. Thanks for showing us all.
Wow, you did a super job on this bag.I have been wanting to make one of those tents with that screen and embroider bugs on it for covering food for picnic gatherings.
this is really soft screening sew I think that EM would look terrific! thanks Mary Hugs Loralye
Very clever of you I haven't heard of this screen part you used.. will have to look on ebay for it
thanks It is rather expensive but I really like the look of this particular bag sew now I will have to see what else I can do to use the rest of it up.
For those who did not know, there is a cloth screen that can be used for bags. It embroiders beautifully. You did a great job with this bag.
The water bottle holder will be handy. Was the screen hard to sew with? I have visions of it shredding strand by strand. lol
