I hope everything goes well and you have a very speedy recovery!

I was only thinking about you and your eye problems today, wondering how you were getting on. I'm sorry you need more surgeries Christie, I will pray that they go really well and the results will all be positive.
Hugs and blessings, Meg
Of course we will be praying for you, for recovery of vision, for a "good" surgery, quick recovery, for friends and loved ones to surround you in this time in which you feel vulnerable, and for the comforting presence of God and a sense of joy in your circumstances. There is such joy in your designs. God bless.
Dear Christie, I will be keeping you in my thoughts and lifting you up to Jesus in prayers! And praying for the doctor's hands to be carefully guided by Him too:>) Hugs and God Bless.
Christie so sorry to hear this. Will keep you in my prayers.
Hugs Yvonne
My best thoughts and biggest hugs, eyesight is so important!! I think that would be my biggest fear, to lose my eyes. Seems like a lot of surgeries, but things do seem to be getting better each time. Some things are like that, they just can't do it all at once. I do hope the macular degeneration isn't too bad. My aunt Kay had that, and she did take lutien for it, a preseciption dose, and it did help. Not to get better, but stopped it from getting worse. Hang in there, we're all behind you, hugs, Marji

Christie.....you will definately be thought of and prayed for.....my mother had macular degeneration in both eyes, so I know what it does......Please know you will be in my heart for this upcoming surgery!! Vicki
Christie dear, I will be praying for you and the surgeons.
Christie,
I had cataract surgery on both my eyes this past year 2012, approximately 5 months between surgeries. I am able to see well,
without glasses, for driving, etc., even reading, except for the tiny
print. I love not having to wear glasses, but, as artificial lenses do not
provide the UV protection that the ones you were born with do, I definitely have to use sunglasses, whenever I am in sunlight. I found that I like the yellow tinted sunglasses, in preference to the gray or blue tint, as I see much better with them when driving or doing yard work. I was surprised as to how much my vision improved after cataract removal. It's annoying to have to be sure I have a pair of sunglasses within reach, whenever I head outside, but it's not a bad thing compared to how well I can see.
I am hoping the double vision issue is resolved with the Feb. surgery. Be SURE to be ritualistic in using any meds the dr. prescribes to keep the macular degeneration from progressing. Perhaps it is in a very early stage, and will require only monitoring and meds to keep it at bay.
You will definitely be in my prayers for successful surgeries, and that you will have these worries behind you soon.
Hugs,
Angel
I am so sorry to hear that you have more surgeries scheduled. Prayers are already going up for the surgeries and that the doctor is able to find a successful treatment for the macular degeneration. I know that is a very serious condition. Please keep us informed.
