Hi all, Does anyone know of a free digitizing program that can be downloaded. Its for a young lad, just left school and he would like to start digitizing. He has been given an Elna embroidery machine. We all want to help him, Many thanks. Hugs Christine, Johannesburg

I have Sew what Pro and it does not do digitizing . It just enables you to edit designs and merge designs etc. I do not think that there are any digitizing programs for free.

I do not know of any digitizing programs for free, but a lot of sites offer tutorials on digitizing using certain software. I have basic Embird and its Iconizer plugin, and love the many features. Should I ever decide to learn to digitize, I can purchase the Embird Studio plug-in for digitizing. Embird is one of the best softwares, and is inexpensive, compared to most digitizing software. Check out the Embird program for him at www.embird.net.
