Looks like you have received the two answers I would have suggested...design too large or the version the file was saved in...hope it is one of the two and you get your problem resolved...if not, repost and let us know that these did not solve your problem....and Welcome to Cute!
As already suggested, the design may have been created with a later version of software. I simply re-format these to an earlier version---I use Pulse Ambassador or My Editor.
could the designs be bigger then your machine will take. your machine will not display them if they are.

Exactly as mrskiki says, so i use Wilcom and open it in first the same format (pes) and resave or if I still can't get it, I download the hus version and convert to version 1 or 4. Go to products then Truesizer! Welcome to Cute!
It sometimes depends on the version of the software that the design was created in. If it was created in a newer version, then you're machine may not be able to read it without an update. Hugs. Nan
