Clever girl! Great job covering up the "Ooops"! Hugs and *'s, Deb
I like the way tou fixed your shirt I have appliqued on shirts to fix a stain.
Hugs Lenamae
what a great save! a lighter spot under the angel wings looks like it's supposed to be there!
This looks terrific - not only disguises the bleached area but makes the garment much more attractive.
I inherit clothes that are bleach stained. I get busy with the bleach bottle or a bleach pen and give the garment an all-over design. That way it doesn't look accidental. Your way looks great and I bet it is much easier. ;)
The "stain" just adds character to your design - a great save!
A very nice job and a lovely design. It happens to me too and I do exactly the same as what you have done, so I have saved two of mine this way.
I just hate it when I ruin one of my favorite things. This is a great design to use to save your shirt!
I presume Javex is bleach. I always put on a very old top when I use bleach. You have done a wonderful job here Carolyn. Well saved.
Love it and that reminds me I got another patch needed on just getting comfy jeans.
Great cover up for that faded out spot. I have some tops too that needs a few designs strategically placed for faded out spots.
If Javex is bleach, I am right there with you. Good save!!
Very clever. lovely angel she'll be watching over you now. I think of all the clothes that were thrown out before I found embroidery what a waste
