Wish I'd thought of that! But, I CAN make one and maybe you will too. ;)

By your side ironing table.

I use an old cutting board and have just pinned a towel over it.

I have a chest of drawers next to my sewing machine table - I have a folded towel inside a pillow case on that. I only put the ironing boad up when that is not enough.

I use a travel iron in my sewing room. This table would be ideal to use it with.

Nice space saving project. Good way to use the tray or repurpose one.

that is a great idea... but I will stick to my plan when making or doing quilting... my sewing room is upstairs.. and I iron on the kitchen counter.. I use a towel and heat iron pad.. that way when I spend all day in the sewing room i am still burning up those calories and keeping the heart rate up.. and some days it is up and down lots..

I was just given a set of 4 tables like that, which are chewed on the table top by dogs. What a neat way to cover them and give them as gifts for family anf friends. I can cover two with the plastic picnic table cloth material for my daughter so the grandkids have a craft table to use. That way she can wipe it down when they are done too.

What a great idea and just what I need. Some days I feel like a Jack-In-The-Box going from my sewing area to the table I press things on. And this is perfect when not in use, to fold it up to get it out of the way!
There's lots of other neat projects there, too!
Thanks bunches for posting this!

Great idea. Sometimes I lower my regular board and pull it close to the machine so I can just swivel in my chair to iron.

I have been using this for about 5 years now....mine needs a new cover and I used the heat insulation so the heat could not go through since I use lots of steam when I iron.
