Bookcover.

Had to test stitch a design and used it to make yet another bookcover. My "gift drawer" is well stocked :)
Had only a small remnant of the linen, so I added a piping, dark green ( lighter than in the picture).

That is very pretty, your book cover is very nice. I understand your addiction to the cross stitch, I am "suffering" a similar addiction currently, he-he! Keep it up I love to see your work.

I had a closer look at the Embird cross stitch module. It has an intimidating lot of tools, but it is in fact very easy. As I had not bought it, I did not do a large design. As I did pay (a lot of money for) the 5D Pro and it gives good resukts I'll stick to their cross stitcher.
Even in Embird you can't influence the start and end points and jumps seems to be unavoidable. So try and let same colour pieces meet. In the two pink colours I had them connect with a half cross and that's hardly visible. The colours are close, I'll have to see what the effect is when using purple and yellow instead of two pinks.
