You and your husband will be in my prayers. You must be happy to have your him home again. Let's pray that the leg will behave and stay straight. I can understand why he is reluctant to have it done over again.
oh yes finally home. His leg is still rather sore, I will just have to make sure he does not over do it...
That was a long recovery. Being away from home so long you must be happy to not have to make the trips to the hospital and rehab place. Keep him moving and try not to do too much for him. He needs to get up and do things for himself so he can continue to recovery.
Oh you made me realize he has to use it or lose it as the saying goes..I will take good care of him,,,yes no more long trips to hospital. I have him and the two GD home here tonight, feels like home again...thanks kerry
Glad he is on his way home. Make sure he does his exercise all the time. My Mum's had 2 knee replacements and she swears by it - she even put a 5-6kg bag of rice on her knee and did bends with it. I know he would not like to have the operation done again! So hope he does well Kerry love and blessings Chris
Hi Chris, I think he said he put something on his knee in rehab, not sure what he said...we sold our excerise bike---darn. Might hire one for a couple of months..see what he says. Will still get physio each week as soon as hospital arranges it.. He said he worked very hard this week to get home and is not wanting to do the opp all over again...love Kerry
Wonderful news. Just hope he takes it easy. Sarah.
Yay.... Glad John? is coming home. So much for the Home reno's. That will have to take a back seat for awhile. Rest him up well. :)
Yes you remembered correctly John is home...yay! I was starting to get lonely even tho Greg (Son) lives down the back...but he is very quiet. Oh I have already told him not to worry about what has to be done, that darn leg bettr behave it's self. A friend at our congregation this week only said she has known John about 3 years and has always seen him with a bad leg...I will get the whip handy to keep him doing as he is told...just remember he is the typical male....wanting to do something...love ya Pauline,,,hugs Kez
Prayers for a perfect and quick healing.
Thanks Jerrilyn but we have a feeling it will be a slow healing process, he is a big guy with a little extra weight and that does not help either...he has lost lots over the past year, I'll see what else I can get off him...hehehe... I won't show him this note....
Glad he is coming home. My sister went through two knee replacments. The first went slow the second knee fast. Trick is to keep moving do the excercises and tighten those muscles. Sitting and resting is not a good thing. The knee will not heal well. Ice is your friend too.... Good luck on it all. It is a difficult operation. Suzanne
