Hello all you Cuties! My sister and I caught a Quilt Show at one of the local churches and it was a fantastic find!! I want to make this quilt in the first three pictures, the block is called 'Stack and Wack' and the maker did a wonderful job of matching each block! My sister filled a bag from the scrap box for only $1. and I bought a wonderful piece of material 5 1/2 yards for just $4.00. I'll hide this pink skulls and hearts to use when my grand daughters reach the teen years.

They really are a an easy quilt to do. My first quilt was a "Stack and Wack" then I made 7 more. Do a search engine on your computer than order Bethany S. Reynolds book. It walks you through several varieties that she became famous for. The use of a rotary cutter and mat makes it so easy.

I've made ONE stack & whack. They are great to see how different they are with the SAME material. The larger the repeat, the more different the squares are. It wasn't easy, but I have been told it was the teacher. I put a picture of it in projects, but that was a L O N G time back! Be sure to post a pic if you make one!

How fun. I have made quite a few of the stack n whack quilts. They are very addictive and fun to make. It gives you a different view of varied print fabrics and how they will turn out.
