a little while back Dolly posted some really cute doorstops, as soon as I saw them I knew I had to try it sew this is my new doorstop! 4 equalateral triangles & some long-grain rice & stuffing & here it is very effective too! & to think I bought the last one I had & it broke & it cost me $12. this one probably under $1

Nice use of those small scraps of fabric. Saw something like this they use as pattern weights. Just though if you accidentally run into this with your bare toes/feet it will not hurt as much as a brick. lol

This is a great one Loralyn. One of my friends made me one that looks like a handbag (black evening bag). They are very useful she bought a small bag of white sand from bunnings used for fish bowls put some in the bottom and ordinary stuffing on top. .Just another idea. Hugs Joyce

Well done. The ones i made in rehab (stroke) had river sand in them. I use them to hold my rulers extra from moving when i cut my fabrics, if you use nice patterned material like the ones you used -there is no need to emb. huggs marian

I tried to do an embroidery but I couldn't get the size right it was either to big or to small sew now it is just free scraps! sew it probably really cost me next to nothing.I even recycled the batting
