Dear Lenamae, I am sure the meds will do you good. Please take Meganne's advice and put your mind at ease. Hugs to you.
Saying prayers for you dear Lenamae.
We humans are prone to great fear as soon as our doctor mentions heart problems, but often our fears are unfounded. (as I hope yours will be)
It may help to remember that the heart is just another muscle and is capable of withstanding all sorts of procedures and surgeries to repair problems.
I remember when I had to have an angiogram I was more fearful of that than I was of the breast cancer, but when I had the procedure I ended up watching it on the screen and I never even felt the probe going into my heart, in fact, except for the initial needle prick, the procedure was painless and quite fascinating to watch.
Now having said all this, I think you would probably feel much better if you saw a cardiologist sooner rather than later and had the tests necessary to find any potential problem that may need attention, so that attention can be given and your mind will be put at ease.
My angiogram showed a congestive problem, quite common and not life threatening, but enough to cause occasional discomfort.
It sure eased my mind once I knew I wasn't having heart attacks. LOL!!!
I hope that sharing this with you will help you to stop worrying so much, stress is not good for you.
Hugs and much love, Meg
Such good advise, you are so wise. Sometimes the worry is harder to deal with than the actual problem.
Meganne You are the best. reading what you wrote made me feel better. I feel better after taking the pills she gave me .but now the yellow bushes around here is looming and I am alergic. head hurts and eyes running so miserable .My cloest neighbor has 3
I know it has only been 3 days, just wondering if there is an update from you!
Lenamae, you are in my prayers, I hope that everything turns out well
I have been praying for you since you posted this. There are many reasons a person can have congestive heart failure. I just wanted to say the good news is you will likely live a long life. My grandmother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure while in her 40's. She is still alive and now 93 years old.
The hunger from the Prednisone will pass once you stop the medicine. Contact your doctor, after you stop, if you feel too sad/depressed. It is a common side effect of stopping the medicine.
Continued prayers for your health.
I know I took a lot of it when I was in the hospital last year It sure helped me .I have COPD and that makes it worse when I get sick.I am feeling better now.
Praise Jesus for that
Hugs Lena

You are on my prayer list. Please keep us up to date on how you are doing.
You are in my thoughts and I hope that the medication will help. Hugs Sarah.
Sending you prayers. Both my parents had congestive heart failure and lived very well on the medications for many years after it was diagnosed. Salt intake was the biggest issue and was easy enough to do without with adding extra herbs and spices for flavor and no processed foods. I wish you the best results with the new medications.,
I'll Pray everything will be okay. Virtual hugs to you.
