You have every right to be proud. Well done to your son. Have a wonderful trip. Hugs Sarah.
Yoriko, This sounds wonderful! I know how proud you must be! My son is 46 now but I went through all of this with him yrs ago. I thought my son was going to be a professional student for a few yrs. He wanted to keep on taking different subjects after he graduated and ended up getting his education in several different things. He is wonderful on computers , programming, repairing and designing. He also decided he wanted to be in the Air and heating business so he went back for that. He does both jobs now. I know how proud you are! Just keep on encouraging him!
Enjoy your trip!! And congrats to your son and all of his hard work! Tell him that we all wish him well! Have fun, hugs, Laura*
Oh Yoriko that is so WONDERFUL !!! I am so happy for you and your son. I know you both struggled and worked hard for this. Both of you enjoy yourself and make every minute a memory. Tell him that people in the US are proud of his accomplishment..

Caroline-san, thank you!
I think I won't see the cherry blossom, as I am leaving there on the 28th, when they start to bloom. Hugs,Yoriko
Have a wonderful time and enjoy your time with him.Can I ask - why is he living in the homeless shelter, do you not have family that can help out?
Yukio, my youngest son was living with my oldest son, but he had to move to Hiroshima, far away from Yukios school. He became homeless, and he got this homeless shelter with the help of government. He is living there for 2 years already, but I am hoping he can move to a student unit this year, that would be great! Hugs, Yoriko
