A delicate looking flower and the cross stitch worked up nice for you.
Great work!!! What digitizing software do you have?
I used 5D Pro, but know that Embird works great too -even has some extras like the stitches Suedewsbury used for her Hardanger type design.
I am going to buy either masterworks or 5D suite. Do you like yours, is it easy to understand?
I mostly use Embird. I hate the consumer-friendly wizards in 5D, I just want to do things my way, but the cross stitch module works great.
the flower is super . iam new to mashine embroidery and love to know how to make a notebook cover,so i could put some of the great designs that we get from all our great cutie friends
You are such a talented woman. A fantastic job in making the cross stitch design from the picture. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
What a beautiful rendition of such a gorgeous flower. I have never seen one. Are they a tropical plant? I got to look this one up....
Wow I just googled it and learned so much. Not tropical at all. Difference than the Hazel tree which has the nuts I love especially when covered in chocolate and the Witch-Hazel plant. I had never seen one and never knew all the medicinal powers it has. It is hard to imagine a seed popping open and throwing it 33ft into the air. Does it get noisy when they do that? Thank you Martine for sending me on the search.
It gets nuts, but as there are no bees around yet (too cold) and they are near the end of the flowering period it may be just a few, just a s last year and the occasional squirrel might get them first.
this is such a lovely branch of witch hazel your cross stitch is terrific! hugs Loralye
You made many beautiful cover book I love to make one Were i can get a pattern Maria
OMG, Martine, this is fabulous......love the real one as I have never seen a flower like that and your reproduction is awesome!!
Love seeing your x itch and what you scratch from it, this is beautiful. I love your close up of the hazel. Actually if worked with the plant you have here is for itches, sore musles, amoung other ailments I could list. I have this one on my want list. Hubby says I got too many bushes the way it is. So I will sneak one where he don't pay attention.
The cross-stitch is lovely. How blessed you are to live with so many flowers!
Just FYI -- I see 2 pictures. One of the Hazel and one cross-stitch.
Beautiful. You are doing wonders with cross stitch. And your stash of beautiful notebkkis keeps growing.
Lovely rendition of your witch hazel! Your talent is amazing!
Martine I have to admit that I'm jealous on your talent to transfer a image into an embroiderydesign and at the same time so happy that you share it with us :o)
Hope many flowers will grow and bloom in your garden *lol*
Greetings, Bettina
