Who knows of a site (besides EBAY)where I can sell LOTS of fabric and stabilizer, thread , needles, knitting items etc.?? Ebay, Paypal charge so many fees and nobody wants to pay postage fees..

You don't have to be afraid of craigslist, just play it safe. I have sold lots of stuff on craigslist. When I list my post, I always state... "You must put your name and location" in your contact email so that I know it's for real and not some spammer. If they don't give you their name and location, DO NOT REPLY. I always state "cash only". Also the most important thing is ALWAYS meet in a nice parking lot during the day. There is no reason to put your phone number and address other then your town. Once you know it's a real person and decide to meet, then I give them my phone number. When I ordered my new Kitchen Aid 7qt mixer, I put my old one on craigslist and it sold in less then 3 hours. Very nice guy bought it. There are lots of good and bad people out there, it's up to you to play it safe!

Thanks everyone. I am in Texas I have posted my 780 Bernina on Ebay but am hoping for a local sale as EBAY and PAYPAL take a huge chunk
out every-time I sell.

I don't know what Pay Pal takes. i don't sell things on e-bay , so maybe others can help you. Perhaps we have an idea for Veronica to set us a tab for shop and swap!!! It might be fun as we are a much closer group.

We have an online news(paper) here that allows free posts for that sort of thing. I have purchased through it many times. Craigslist is good also but please be careful -- scammers and very bad people have been known to frequent there.

I have made my best deals on craigslist. Where else can you get a fur coat for $25. I bought an entire sewing room.
