Hope you are not too bored while you heal, You can plan more projects!
Keep it higher than your heart and the pain will be less. Something to do with the blood flow being stronger with it down. Get better soon.
You por Baby!!!! Sorry to hear of the mishap. I hope you will be able to catch some sleep during the first night. I know - been there cutting finger through to the bone slicing onions.
sorry the spelling devil is with me tonight - should be "You poor Baby". ****XOXOXO
Had to go look for this post.
You didn't have to go to this extreme just to get out of sewing with me. LOL!!!
Seriously though, I am so, so, sorry you did this to yourself.
I was watching a cooking show on telly one day when the chef sliced his finger on his mandolin, boy did they cut to a commercial quickly.
I am always very wary when I use mine and especially so when slicing potatoes as they tend to stick to the blade, making them even more dangerous to slice.
Hope you heal quickly sis. Hugs n love, me
PS, thanks for the lovely day, sorry I couldn't stop yawning, had a few microsleeps driving home, pretty scary but I made it.
Pauline....oh my goodness just read this...you poor love...I do hope you mend quickly, without too much of a pain. we only just watched the add for this half an hour ago and my oldest GD asked if we could get one, I think now I know why I said no,,,big hugs to recover...Kerry
She had an even bigger pain on Wednesday Kerry...........
I was visiting for the day. LOL!!!!!
I doubt you were a pain Meg, seems to me Pauline loves your company. Glad you liked the little dove, I had forgotten all about it acutally...it was a thought more than anything to let you know I think of you...love Kerry
ooh painful, sorry to hear..Use this time to sit and plan your next project adventure or to do some reorganising of design patterns this way before you know it your hand will be all healed up..
OH! OUchie! I'm so sorry you did this..... and I know it hurts like crazy.... but.... maybe this would be a good time to take your machine in for service... Isn't that terrible! Hope you heal quickly - hugs, Jan
Ouch! Ouch!!!! Pauline, I can feel it..all the way in brissy.... I have one of those but have the protective hat that does stop me slicing up my hands will be extra careful now...look after your self... hugs Sally
Sally i used the hat but i wouldnt grip the potato, so me being me i disgarded. Not a good idea. %(
So sorry, sounds awful. How's your left-handed mousing and clickin?
Mar 19, 2013 -- Ouch is right! Take good care of yourself and use this time wisely (hunting and downloading all the freebie designs you can - lol).

Ooh! you poor thing! I feel your pain! Now that's one way of stopping you from sewing with Meg visiting soon! I told you that you wouldn't get any sewing done, but that's a bit of a drastic way to get out of it he he he! I know you guys will talk for hours anyway! Hope that the thumb will heal quickly for your Polly. Love you, Chris
Chris did you jinx me hehehe oh well as you say we wouldnt have had time to sew anyways. :)
Makes me cringe just to think of it. May you heal quickly. It is really hard to do almost anything without your thumb so hopefully you have some one to help you out.

I am with the other Cuties on this.
Ouch! Hugs! I hope you heal quickly! Keep your arm above your heart to reduce the throbbing. Please don't show pictures as sewmom said.
And the best comment is from jrob...those tablets are great for everything but typing and conversation. LOL
Please keep the wound dry. No sewing means no dish duty either!

Ouch indeed. take care! hope you heal quickly!! Suzanne
Bless your heart! Keep it higher than your heart to cut down on some of the throbbing......don't ask how I know. I can't wait until you feel better and reread this message....tablets started to kick in for sure %. ;)
That is a big ouchie. I hope you heal quickly so you can get back to stitching.

A big hug for you, hope it recovers soon and the pain will get less soon too. And all this by making tea....?Hugs, Gerry
awww poor pauline , that sounds very nastysending big ((((((HUGS))))))
I am so sorry to hear about this injury. I so can feel your pain. Been there and got a chunk taken out with the Food Processor Chopper Attachment. Those blades are dangerous but I didn't toss mine out. Just been extremely careful since. Hold your hand up close to your shoulder and that helps somewhat with the throbbing.
Pauline so sorry to hear this. Hope it heals quickly. Hugs Yvonne
