Wonderful idea for a quick gift and something I can do while watching TV :o)
I love the colors you have chosen for these blankets. Great work!
For the visual learners... go to Youtube and search for "No-Sew, No-Tie Fleece Blanket Edging - II" There is a good video to show you how to do this.
I hope you can find it. Youtube links here never work for me.
Thank you for coming to my rescue ;o)
Was trying to understand how this is done just with watching the pics but get absolutely helpless. Now I know the trick...
I learned how to do lots of things by watching youtube videos. I needed the help on this one too. Glad it helped you too Bettina!
:o)
Thanks for helping me smile and for the flower!
Flowers for you and all the others too.
Well done. I showed the Cuties to do one a few years ago.http://www.cuteembroidery.com/797...
So the loop is another piece of fabric winding through a hole in each fringe? Love them all!
No it is the fringe looped through both pieces of the fleece. Fringe are cut on the edges of the 2 pieces of fleece.
I cut 3/4" strips and put a small slit through both layer and feed strip through slit and gently pull.
Your blankets are beautiful. I always "loop" mine, a hospice volunteer showed me the technique years ago. The loops never come undone like the knots do and lay so nicely. I love the flowered fleece you made Katie's from.
I love the way you have done the edge - how do you cut it so neatly?
Thank you ... I use a 4x4 square and rotary cutter. Can see through the square and cut a strip every 3/4"
I love the way you loop your fringe! It looks so much nicer than when it is tied. Could you tell us how you do it?
Wonderful job on all of them, congratulations. Love and blessings Chris
This edging is nice and neat as opposed to the knotted way. These are going to be nice and warm.
All these look super. I like the loop, never made one like this.
