Please, HELP. I am trying to sign up for the school of ditizing lessons, and they are in rar format. I've looked online, and read the post to jerrib about rar. will the 7zip work? Do you have the address I go to to download. I loaded one on and it changed all my icons and it was so different that I felt lost.

Hi Twee: I did send you a PM read awesome's message below as this is the one I ended up downloading. The other did the same thing to me that you said happened to you and I didn't know what to do. I was lucky that I got everything back to the way it was and then downloaded the open knife one.

I just use a free online converter :-)
the i use offers many different conversions

I do not like the on line programs when I don't have to use them. I tend to want to do my embroidery playing off line, and sometimes it is inconvenient for people who have dial-up service. I had that once, and the connection would drop if I was on line too long. Many rural areas still don't have internet access in the US.

I use 7=zip as well. Works just fine.

7-zip works for me also.

Do you have Embird? It opens rar files. Hope you get it worked out.

This will take you to the download page--free and easy. Just drag your file to the black knife and it is so neat--starts unzipping immediately.
