FSL Easter Goodies

This year I stitched a variety of Easter goodies for my family from several different digitizers. Our Cutie Sewinghuggs designed the Peep alpha, The FSL egg is from Criswell, The FSL "He Is Risen" angel was a freebie from Mountain Thread Art Yahoo Group, and the ITH Easter egg mug rug a freebie for liking Stitched Impressions on Facebook. My first try for a pieced ITH project. I guess it's okay for a first try! LOL I had also made a FSL Angel like the blue one for me and DH, but it found a new home this afternoon. A little girl and her dad and furbaby were walking down our street. We talked and she said there was a "Play" at her church this morning. I asked if there was an Angel in the play and she said there was, and she loved angels. I told her I did, too. Turns out the "play" was a reenactment of the crucifixion and resurrection. Anyways after asking her dad if I could give her a special angel I made and he said yes. So I went in the house and got the one I made for hubby and me.It was just like the blue I made for my brother and SIL Her dad lifted her up and she gave me a big ole hug and precious smile. We never know when someone will come into our lives at just the right moment or why, but this little girl, her dad, and furbaby, made our Easter extra special...
