How we change. When I first bought my embroidery machine I found cute embroidery. The first place I always went to was the freebee. Now its to projects and community with a cupa to meet up with old friends. hugs Heather

Me too. I would rather get good quality designs and keep up with the Cuties. I now keep a prayer list at the computer to remind me of the Cuties who need prayer. And the flowers are to show me that I have already read a post.

My experience is exactly the same! I always look to Projects for inspiration and Community for a chat. Like Caroline, I no longer look for freebies. Life is too short!

Ah the stages of machine embroidery that we go through. I too do the same as you. The chase for freebies stopped ages ago with me and like many here have enough designs to keep me active for ever. It is wonderful here how a design is sewn out and each makes it their own way. There is also the added bonus that there is help from all over the world, Sues birthday & Christmas exchanges and meeting other Cuties face to face as well as via our computers. Happy sewing

Hi there,I try to merge my love of patchwork quilting with embroidery. The designs that I buy are from many of the sites that I had downloaded the freebees. Gosh I was so green when I started, and seemed to always be putting my foot in my mouth.

Don't know where you're from, etc. but have you discovered the Anita Goodesign Mix and Match Quilts? I'm beginning to think that even I can be a quilter with my embroidery machine.
