Bookmark. Stitched on linen: joined up the centre of the back, seam pressed open then turned through. I stitched across the ends and unravelled a fringe.

Technical details - 2mm crosses stitched in vintage 30wt variegated cotton thread. The design is traditional Eastern European.

That is very nice. I had not thought about doing a bookmark. I was thinking of doing a belt in that same manner, but lots more embroidery of course. It will be a while till I am ready for such an effort, but that is my plan.

Very nice and made differently than I have made mine. I like to change things up now and then.

I love those traditional designs, quite simple but very effective. The vaiegated thread makes the design even more interesting.

That's how I did mine too, with the seam at the back, gives a nice finish.
