Susan, did you make the nose smaller on your dolls than on the original design? and did the head flop around? The nose on the design seems to be much larger, which to me wasn't near as cute as yours. Just wondering. Pam
Yes, I did change the nose. I didn't like it so big. I cut out a one and a half inch circle sewed a gathering stitch around it like a yo-yo and stuffed it for the nose. No, the head does not flop around at all. It looks much skinnier than it really is. That was a concern of mine too. The opening for the head is actually at the top under the hair notat the neck. A very clever design that works well. Susan
Thank you. I still cant get over how cute she turned out. You did a great great job!
rsehorse,
Can you please tell me what material you use for your dolls and how and what yarn for their hair?
I have these Designs but have not made then yet.
You do a wonderful job.

First off thank you very much. I use cotton fabric for the dolls and tulle for the skirt. This doll has regular 4 ply yarn. The previoue doll I made with red hair, that waa a bulky red yarn. Both yarns were purchased at Wal-Mart. Hugs, Susan
I love this, it is very cute, where is this design from?
This design is from www.embroidery-outlet.com It is the Nora dolls found under designs, ITH. Thanks, Susan
She is so cute! I hope we get to see the purple one also.
