ITH purse. I am limited in designs right now, luckily I have this one. Thank you Sue, I plan on making many more. This is home decorator fanric so it is thick, I put the handle in the corner, next time on the side. I like it! I think I would like to find the lined version.

I wan't sure if home dec was too thick. I worked out OK except for the corner with the handle and that is not so bad.

Aha, Christine, what a gorgeous purse......the pattern Sue has given to all of us is so versatile.....love seeing it done with all the different fabrics..

Thanks, it took longer to find the rbbon handle than to stitch it out!

It looks great! I might try some decorator fabric on my next one.
What do you mean the "lined version" -- do mean you want to add a lining because the decorator fabric is rough?

Now that I have been inside it is not bad, however I think I will line it manually, I was wondering if I made the same thing without the zipper and ironed an edge where the zip is if I could use that?

rescuer by rescuer 14 Apr 2013

If you just add the lining during regular stitch-out, it may provide what you need. Lay down the lining fabric always placing it next to the wrong side of the decorator fabric.
I will try to do one and take pictures as I go. I already took my pain meds so it will have to be tomorrow.

Thanks Sue, I can hardly wait to do more!

Sue I was wondering if I made the same thing without the zipper and ironed an edge where the zip is if I could use that as lining and hand stitched it in. I think I will try it!

Thanks, I got it used and the girl had fantastic taste! She was making wine bags so most of it is cut.

I just love this fabric - you could line it even at this stage I think as it is so well put together
