Love the towel - but I must admit I have a huge case of "thread envy"! LOL! Great job!
Looks Yummy!
Thanks I get this way every year want berries just before time, tomatoes, watermelon, lol maybe I need a fruit salad. MMM that just might do it.
delicious & the thread collection a dream wow Mary sigh..............Hugs Loralye Just kidding I have lots of thread too
Thanks Lorayle they are delicious. I learned one other day from email to Ann Grans site. I don't always get to check up on everything out there but felt like yeah go look. As the site came up I notice on side how it had how to tie thread like manufacter does keep your threads nice on spool. They showed how. I went through every spool which took a day and tied thread like they showed. Believe me I have done the hair ties, the tape, the hose cut in half and into ring pieces. They tend to bump off spools, get off thread and it still came hanging down on occasions. I now love this. Keeps it nice and I pull off my color choices then once done tie up put back on rack. Keeps the organize in good shape. When using it is easy to get hang of just like opening new spool. I know you just organized so thought would share that. Hope your project idea is flowing and you have a joy filled day.
Beaut job on the towel and I love your thread collection too. Do you keep a cover over it from dust? Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris. I don't actually cover. I used to worry on it but when I have found and used thread that I have had since late 60's no problems reg thread. Crochet, reg string. I just figured if kept in house steady temp, I use light suck on vac around it with brush. No problems. Only time I have problems is like Carolyn had hers jump off spool. I hate it when they come off wrong. That is one thing I have learned is to try to watch when embroidering is how well thread is happy moving along. Bad spool winds are the ones that makes the project not a fun one.
That is very nice and the strawberries add a summery feel. Looking beyond your project, I do like your thread storage arrangement which is something I have been meaning to do for a long time.
Thanks, I won't say I am done but I am thankful for the thread I have and if I see some here and there I think is needed it is just one more spool. My room is stacked, packed. I know I can't have a building but boy it would be nice. Dreams can happen just youth won't come back so I am content where I am at these days.
Never get tired of towel topers keep up the work
Looks Great nice design love Strawberry
Thank you, Strawberries is one that I am glad found out I was not alergic to. I ate so many one year I got a rash during season time.Doc asked my mother what has she had recently could have set to set off this rash? Well he then said avoid Strawberries see if it goes away. Oh crush.... But it didn't it was from bubble bath. I had hit her up for a brand called soakie because of the chacters that held the bubbles. Wish I still had them they would be worth a fortune now at my age. lol.
Like how you are experimenting with the towel toppers. There seems to be many ways to make them. I've been buying fresh strawberries in our local grocery stores and they are so refreshing. Used to go picking strawberries when we lived in Florida and I think I ate more than I picked. lol
You made me laugh. My Mother always said when we did berry picking of any kinds had to fill my container then I could pick and eat all I could handle. Thing is on way home I kept eating in the container too. My GP grew a large field of Strawberries and Blackberries.
My dad made one of those round tiered strawberries pyramids and we always had black and red raspberries and lots of fruit trees. Well one less fruit tree as my brother mowed one down. lol
Too bad you were not in Loxley, Alabama this weekend they had a big Strawberry festival. Well on Saturday because they got rained out on Sunday. These would have sold sew easily. They look just perfect.
Strawberries they need sunshine not snow lol
They say it is to warm up by end of next week ,the robins have made it to about 2 hours from me a sure sign spring is coming (i hope)

Yep, already cleaned my first basket of strawberries 2 weeks ago. Yum! Your towel and topper looks great! I still have not yet done this technique. I have towels and designs in mind, finally got the stabilizer...
I have till around June to wait for fresh but that is not far off really but my craving is getting worse, lol. I will keep your wanting to make in mind. Thank you so much for taking time to comment.
Fresh local strawberries are delicious! You have done a great job on this towel! It is making me crave some strawberry freezer jam.
Thanks, I would love some jam but have to loose more of me first so fresh would hit the spot or some from freezer or my dehydrated ones I can eat them like candy and no fat and no sugar.
