Isn't it amazing the extraordinary things we do? The end results look quite beautiful Sue. Sarah.
Here are the napkins. (They are no longer a secret!)
Sorry...your story made me laugh.....that same scenario happens all to often to me. It's a good thing I'm not trying to make a living at this because it takes me forever to get anywhere. I'm sure your napkins are beautiful. Sometimes I wish people could know how much effort went into projects. My friends just think I zip them out.
My whole week was like that last week. It has to get better. Hugs, Susan
LOL. Sorry, but it is good to know that even all of you greats have a bad day now and then. Hope you are going to show us a picture of the hard worked for napkins.
Apr 15, 2013 - What a laugh! I am sooooo happy I'm not the only one who has days like this.
Sue, looking for the positive here. LOL LOL LOL.
Your napkins, no matter what shape, will be made with great thought, when finally stitched out. AND made me laugh. So glad you finally found the usb..
hugs Helen
Tie a ribbon to the USB, I have, and then it is easy to locate. except if tucked into the back pocket of your jeans.. LOL
Oh Sue you made me laugh and I am very relieved that a lot of us seem to be able to identify. Keys, glasses, USB Sticks and other small misc. items, never seem to be where I thought I had put them. Good thing about this is EXERCISE. Maybe they are upstairs. No they must be downstairs. Let me look upstairs one more time.......and so on.
I put the wrong size bobbin into the machine I planned on sewing with. What a mess. After I had finished cutting the material out of the bobbin case and cleaned up, thunder and lightening started. Unplugged all and gave up
How wonderful! I laughed out loud when I read this, as I think we can all relate to it!!!! I've put my USB sticks in the little holders that Meganne digitised and then they are easy to locate. Unless like you, I've pulled it out to take it somewhere and not put it back in its bright red or green cover! So glad you found it and I like rectangular napkins, I think they are easy to fold. Your friend will love whatever you make and thanks for all the wonderful things you offer on here. Love and blessings Chris
I have had "one of those days" today as well. Mine began yesterday evening and worked right on through the afternoon today. It must be some phase of the moon. LOL
I hope you have a much better tomorrow!
PS I have three memory sticks just like yours -- they disappear and re-appear often.
I can empathize, the only difference, my hubby would bring me the flash drive after it went through the wash! Lol! On a serious note, I have had more than one day as your describe. On Dec 21st last year I went through at least 5 machines emb & sewing and none of them would work for me.
I am so sorry to be laughing at your pain. I am sure we can all relate though.
Alice
Sue, thanks for the good laugh. I AM sorry for you. Memory sticks and glasses, they always turn up in the first spot I looked - and overlooked them, but before I revisit that first spot I've looked everywhere else.
Yep I think we all have had one of those days! Tomorrow will be better. Suzanne
Wow. That is a day we can all relate to. As to rectangular napkins. Yes they are fine. I cannot remember the catalog but around Christmas someone was touting them as the practical/modern napkin.
if a day starts like that I stop with doing I'm trying to do.. I know it will not turn out to be a good day
I am experiencing that same happening while sewing my niece's daughter's christening gown. I have hand-stitching to do on the bodice and I put it somewhere in the house while looking for the thread that I misplaced, too. Luckily I found it under the lace overskirt. What fun we have with our memories at this age! LOL Thanks Sue for all the gifts you give us here on Cute! The best gift is learning to laught at yourself. LOL yet again! Sandra
huh this is just a normal day right? ;0) no worries my friend we all have days like this, she will love them just because you cared enough to make them! Hugs Loralye
Can you tell us where you bought those memory sticks please, only they don't seem to have been very helpful!!
The one I lost is at least 7 tears old. It used to be on my key ring but the attachment broke one night. That lead to me scrabbling about in the pub car park the next morning.
Dennis you are funny. If I thought MEMORY sticks would improve my memory I would buy quite a few.
so nice to hear I'm not the only crazy one lol..
Have fun sweetie
big hugs from London
Maria xx
thank you for the story! And perhaps are rectangular napkins easier to put on your lap when you want to place them there while eating :) Hugs, Gerry
Love the true story..LOL....but sorry for the frustration!! You are such a busy bee. At least a few lessons were learnt by thinking out of the box. You know what they say about the mother of invention, well I am sure you friend will love the rectangular napkins.!!
Sounds like you have had a very exciting day Sue. Now we all need a been there done that t shirt as it sounds like some of my 'planned' sewing days
Oh yes, I can totally see myself running that exact same path to frustration - when my dogs leave the sewing room, I know I need to just walk away....
Been there, Done that.. Spent more time searching for things then I did stitching.
Sorry Sue, I couldn't help laughing!! You remind me of me most of the time !!!
