Further to my earlier post, I spoke with Barnyarns this morning who have confirmed that they supply pre-wound coloured 'L' bobbins. Their website shows 24 colours but indicates that 50 colours are available. These threads are by a manufacturer called Bottom Line. There are various purchase options for single and multi-colour packs. I have added a link below for those who may be interested.
I may have got somewhere with this. See my reply below. Thanks for the help ladies.
hi there.. I just had a quick look at my supplier ETC, they only offer black and white as well.. also as does BSK, afraid you may need to wind your own .. sorry..
Big hugs from London

Hi and thank you for your reply. I am hoping that I have now found a supplier (see answer to asterixsew, below), only I'm wound up enough as it is, without having to turn my attention to bobbin winding....LOL.
Dennis the lack of replied might be the clue that there is none. I will check with the dealer I use and post a reply. He is able to answer most of my questions, no not most all
Yes, I take your point! I did trawl the internet prior to posting and also spoke with my machine and thread supplier. The only suppliers I initially found are all in the US, where it seems you can get all the colours (sorry..colors) of the rainbow and everything in between. My supplier said that I could have any colour I wanted, so long as it was black or white!! However, being a stubborn so-and-so I have found a supplier (www.barnyarns.co.uk) who does supply pre-wound 'L' bobbins in a variety of colours. I am going to speak with them in the morning and let you know the outcome out of interest.
