I love the plant pot, and yes I can remember. weeeeeeed.
Hugs pam.
Dear Sue,
Ooh! yes I remember them from when I was a wee lass in Adelaide. I used to love "Little Weed" with its high pitched voice! I remember the Flower Pot Men spoke a weird (to us anyway) sort of English. I just checked it on the Internet and they called it "Oddle Poddle". My favourite line was at the end when they were saying goodbye to the little Weed - "Baba pickle Weed" and Weed always cried out in a very long and high pitched sound Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!! Thanks for the memories. Love and blessings Chris
P. S Love your little flowerpot too!
Now, now girls. You'll bring a tear to my eye if you carry on like this...tsk...tsk
I love buttons! And I'm so happy you are making lovely designs for us to stitch and enjoy. Thank you so much! I hope you digitize more! LOL
Hugs and ***
Pretty container garden. I can't wait til I have access to machines and designs. I feel so limited.
You are having so much fun with these buttons. And I love seeing each of your creations.
Ah! The Flowerpot Men......................and then there was Andy Pandy, Muffin the Mule........................but my all-time favourite was Camberwick Green and my heroes from Trumpton. Sorry...getting carried away here. Just to say that Bill and Ben would be delighted with your latest creation.
Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub were brill, but much later. You forgot the Wooden tops as well!
I'll forget my head one of these days. I think that makes me a wooden top!!!!! LOL
Love this the buttons are darling with it. Have never seen Flowerpot Men and if this is weed it is a pretty one.
Actually, the real Little Weed didn't look much like this. It is more the flower pot connection.
