UK Cute get together. Today, four of us met at Ann's house for lunch and a chat and the at my house for coffee and more chat. We couldn't let that lot in Cape Town have all the fun!

In the picture squeezed onto my sofa are Pam (justsew), Ann (scottie) and Gill (gillemmerson). In the second picture we were helping Gill to work out how to put some bits together for a quilt.
Ann gave us a fantastic lunch and I'm sure we will be repeating the whole thing again before too long!

Lovely group of Cuties! Thanks for sharing, we get to double the joy by being the "fly" on the wall. Dennis, we go to the hospital in the US for "clots"- I guess I'll have to google that one. ;)) (a big smile)

In 1950's "Clot" was a popular description for what you might call a bonehead. I haven't heard it used for years!
In our house we suffer from Culinary Thrombosis (a clot in the kitchen).

Sorry for the confusion jrob but suedewsbury has hit the nail on the head (or should that be bonehead). 'Culinary Thrombosis' ....I like that.....very funny. Okay, I am now off to find myself an English-American translation book!!

I thought perhaps that I might plan such a gathering for the blokes. Now, I accept that any photographic evidence of such a gathering would not be as good looking as these fine Cuties but you can't have everything! Furthermore, I'm not convinced that the term "Cuties" could be applied to a male gathering, so if I can find any to invite I shall call it a 'Gathering of Clots.'
