Hi Cuties: I just purchased an Elna 8300 embroidery machine. A sewing shop close by has had it in her store for a while so I got a really good price on it. If anyone has one, please give me any info you have for the machine. How you like it etc. I do have a Pfaff 7570, but wanted something with a larger hoop area, so didn't want to pay a fortune for a new machine. My repair guy is a friend and said it was a good price for the machine.

Congrats on your new machine. I typed your machine into you tube and there are pages of video's, so hope this will help you in mastering how to use her. I so dream of having a larger hoop machine. One day maybe one day :) Hugs Jussy

I have an ELNA Expressive 820 which is previously known as the ELNA8300. It is not my only machine but has become my favorite. Works like a dream.

I hope I made a good choice in buying it. If I run into problems, may I ask you for help? I can give you my e-mail address in a Private Message. It will be nice to have someone that has some knowledge about its features. I am nervous as its been a very long time since I have had to learn another machine and technology has changed so much.

Thank you rescuer, I still have my Pfaff, but at least with this one I don't need a computer to use it.

Thank you Susan: I am excited to try it, but the lady gave me the wrong plug, so will have to wait for her to drop it off on her way home.

You will love the USB capability. I don't know anything about Elna's. the USB has been great with the Viking.
