With all the sad things happening wouldn't it be nice if many many cuties could send a real and written card to our dearest Sewmom? If only I had the chance to know her address I would do right now - but simply have no idea how to obtain a Cutie address without breaking rules and such?

Meganne, Maybe things are different where you live, but here in the US, many women like our dear Sewmom, are extra loving and very sensitive. They go through their lives being very kind to others, very helpful, and always live their lives being exceptionally kind to others. They never speak a harsh word to anyone. For people like Sewmom, and so many other ladies on Cuties, it is crushing to us, to even think that in some small way we could have hurt or offended someone. We try to live our lives so we never hurt anyone. We rescue lost kittens. We carry spiders outside rather than smash them. We say hi to strangers who look like they need a smile. We have soft shells. Our intentions are totally pure. People like Sewmom and so many other Cuties have inner strengths that pull us through incredibly hard times, we are made of steel for the really big challenges of life, but it is the little things that hurt us. We would never use words like "selfish" or "shame" or "pity" when referencing a friend. Maybe it is a cultural thing. But here in the USA, those words spoken to a friend are more like a knife stuck into the heart and twisted. We all love Sewmom, as we have loved and prayed for you. We want to hug her, and comfort her, as she has truly had her feelings hurt. I hope you can understand this.

Thank you Jan for stating it so well. I have rarely even looked at the "Freebies" section and yet I do know that Sewmom has spent countless hours serving her fellow Cuties. She has always been there to direct lost newbies as well as some of the others whenever they needed help. She deserves our gratitude for the many years of SELFLESS service she has provided to all. While I didn't availed myself of her services in the Freebies section, I am nonetheless very grateful for all she has done for so many others. I hope she will feel the love of Cuties and know that we know she would never knowingly put this site or Ms. Veronika at risk.

Meganne, I'm very surprised by your attitude. Yes, she voluntarily quit making up freebie lists. BUT- it was because of the confusion in the rules about posting links to sites that reqire memberships AND she wanted to make sure she didn't step on Veronica's toes and cause a problem. You may not see the issue here but we do.Sewmom spent a ton of her own time trying to help us save time in looking for free designs. Her intentions were as pure as ours are to comfort her. You used to be more open to others feelings and that is what surprised me here. Most of the Cute family is sincere and have good hearts and we try to look out for each other. Please try to keep an open mind and look at this from all sides. Thank you, Meri
