Beautiful. I know you put in a LOT of hard work into this quilt. Love the colors you used. I have wanted to make this one. Just haven't started it yet.
reading the other comments. I think I beg to differ I think that it is "the colour purple" Quilt as I also have done this one with a difference too. Added other blocks that I liked from Jenny Haskins books.
Beautiful. Isn't this Quilt a great Project, with all the different blocks and what you put into them
Absolutely stunning - it must have taken many many hours to make. I love it. Cheers Claire

This is beautiful but it is not Jenny Haskins Color Purple. I have all Jenny Haskins designs and have made Color Purple and this is not it. Sorry
Like your centre better. Great job. Love the concept of this quilt. I made one and combined it with other ones from Jenny Haskins. To get my version of it.

Thanks cuties for your lovely comments yes the butterflies are free standing lace the quilt has quite a number in each block. The centre was the peacock from hatched in Africa and I have put a close up of it in projects
Beautiful!!!!!!! Love the colours and the designs! Butterflies over the purple colour gave an interesting look to the centerpiece! *4U
Hand or machine applique? It is beautiful! I love the peacock in the center!;)

A JENNY HASKINS QUILT IS ON ONE OF MY "GONNA DO ONE DAY"LIST. BUT NOT IN PURPLE.THIS ONE LOOKS REALLY GREAT.IT DESERVES A FLOWER.
Love the peacock in the centre, very different. I love Jenny's quilts and designs of course. I did the Federation for my Son and partner. When I find the photo I will post it to. So I know how much time and effort you spent. They certainly are a wonderful challange to do. Well done. *
Very nice - WOW! Are all these squares embroidery? I am not familar with Jenny Haskins. *4U
Yes machine embroidery with applique and lots of fancy stitches added. One can get very addicted to Jenny's work. Her Son Simon works as her partner in crime so to speak. Do check her work out if you can.
Oh I love the color. I would love to have one like this. Beautiful *4U
