I just purchased Sfumato! I am clueless!! I will try to continue to tromp on forward and if I come up with any good tips and hints I will post to you. I am new to Embird as well and purchased 2013 Embird, Studio and Sfumato. For the moment I am wondering what the heck have I done! But I hope to get the hang of it. P.S. I am wet behind the ears and new to embroidery as well. Love your work.
It took me quite a long time to try Sfumato, I spent a few months on basic stuff in Studio first.
Good luck/
Sue , as ever its wonderful work I can see this as a cover for a wedding album if its of the church used
Sometimes when you digitize each piece of the building individually you can get some amazing results. You can play with the paramaters and loose some of the gaps between the stitches, and outline each piece as you go.
Give it a try....Lynn
I agree, Sue, what a difference that slight outline detail makes... I love this look and unfortunately, Bernina software doesn't have this feature, it has something called photostitch and it is awful.....so I am loving anything I see in this style.....You have done a fabulous job with this!
I have no tip since I know absolutely nothing about digitizing. I just wanted to let you know that I love what you have done and agree with you that it looks more finished with the outline. Awesome.
Sorry but I'm with Crafter on this one but as I said before, I think they are a Wow design and project.
Sue, I haven't done any Sfumato, can't even figure how to pronounce it, but your work looks great to me. Hugs, Judy
WOW Sue this looks brilliant.. i too have only played with Sfumato..
good luck :-)
