Today we said goodbye to a family member, feeling very sad. It is only when a life ends that we ponder.......:( Hugs for u Jussy

Oh nonna, My heart just aches for you. May God bless you during this time of grief and give you wonderful memories of your Dad. Hugs,

He knew and knows. After they are gone we show our love for them by continuing the values and actions they taught us. My dad, though Very Quiet, taught me the value of study, memorization and using your brain (logic); valuing family and constancy in marriage; loyalty to church, family and home; the importance of seeing to little details; fairness and kindness in dealings with all people; joy, laughter and silliness; promptness; giving service to community; clear and accurate use of language; persistence; and oh, so much more. His only failures were in teaching me to garden. He planted strawberries and scuppernong (grape) vines in deep shade and had disappointing crops. Hope you ALL have wonderful memories of your parents.
Oh Pauline I am sure he knew you loved him...we all know our children love us sometimes they take us for granted as we may have our parents..I really look forward to seeing my Mum and Dad in the ressurection in Paradise as you would also I know. Love ya girl friend...
This should be a mantra. Thanks Pauline for the reminder.
Very appropriate words of wisdom. I wished that I had for both my Mum and Dad. All too suddenly, you find yourself unable to do so but wishing you had.
