I saw this on a sewing blog...I don't wear sunglasses but I could see another design on a pair ;D *2U
I must say that is different. They were definitely thinking outside the box when they came up with that idea. Tiny holes and gold thread might ne very attractive. Hugs, Susan
I can envisage yet another Cutie personal disaster in the making, not to mention all the husbands who are about to have their drills trashed! I mean, for a start, the link tutorial makes no mention of the need to remove the sunglasses before drilling commences!! And then there are the excuses that you are going to come up with when you get stopped by the police....."Sorry officer, I didn't see the sign. I was distracted by the pretty flowers I could see out of the corner of my eye!"
I have my own Dremel, carefully stored so my husband can't lay his hands on it. However, my subscription sunglasses are not the thing to practice on.
Ha ha ha, Dennis. I have my own Dremel also, and if I get stopped, I'm not beyond using my feminine wiles to get out of a ticket! It's amazing what some guys will fall for. (really big smile!)
If you put the design in the upper outside corner as shown in the picture as many eyeglass designers puts their tiny logo motif it will not be in the peripheral vision area.
Love it but my sunglasses are safe. My record of losing and breaking sunglasses makes me say I won't do it.
Fancy idea. Apparently they don't know about tiny FSL and glue. lol I have a dremel but would be afraid I'd crack the plastic.
That's cool and totally doable. I have glued on crystals to the lenses so this is really the next step. Lol!
I am always looking for something new, now I wonder if DH has the right drill. Thankyou this is so different, hugs
