I finally finished my dh t-shirt. I did the back some time ago with a full wing span eagle & this is the front of that shirt. I had some challenges with it as I'm sure you can see. There are 2 beaks here? I had 3 layers of stablizer on the back but only one layer of wss on the top. as soon as I saw the beak sew out I knew it was wrong. But by then it was too late, I made the descision to go ahead anyway & then I added another layer of wss but this time I used a pc of fibrous stablizer & then it was fine. I will have to get the sharpie out to cover the bits of white but as for the beak I tried to "pick" it out but no such luck. It is too fine a stitch & I am afraid I will poke a hole in it. My hubby has seen the back only & he really really likes it , after he sees the front I hope that he feels the same about it.
