It seems that I got away with my post. Pheeeew....................
Alls well that ends well ! With a fabric shopping trip! My husband erred in asking me one time if I was going to buy all of the fabric in my cart and I said, "Yes! Look at all I'm leaving behind!!!"
LOL would love to see your stash , I am so looking forward to using my overlocker for quilting something that I would never thought of doing before .
Yes, Mrs. Jrob, I do believe that the principle of which you speak is an internationally recognised system more commonly known as the 'Wile of the Female Psyche.'
Wile: 1. trickery, cunning, or craftiness. 2. an artful or seductive trick or ploy. 3. to lure, beguile, or entice.
Please convey to Mr. Mrob that he does not stand alone. The self-same ploy is used by Imelda Marcos (aka., my dear wife) when she comes back from shopping for shoes in the sales, informing me that by buying two pairs of shoes she has saved us twice the amount of money. I have sought the logic of this argument for many a year but have now given up.
Enjoy your day anyway. It just makes it more interesting.
It's a worry! There are far too many of you ladies reporting 'blonde days' over recent weeks. What with dropping cuckoo clocks on your head (twice, I might add), putting thumb drives in the washing machine, throwing perfectly good scissors in the trash can, misplacing computer sticks that you have actually put in your back pocket for 'safe keeping.' The list goes on and I just don't know what I'm going to do with you all!!! Now toet, are you absolutely sure that you have bought the right fabric (and enough of it), and that your lesson is tomorrow?
Keep us on the straight and narrow Dennis. Now 'fess up. Tell us some of your interesting experiences.
This is a public site and more importantly, there are ladies present.........lol. Seriously though, I will let you into a few secrets soon.
Let's just say we're all focused clearly on one thing - beautiful machine embroidery - and that the details USUALLY follow.
It turned out to be a great day, love the new fabric I purchased. Once I can manage my new overlocker, it will be used with future embroidery projects The one I bought is self threading, has extra feet attachments for fancy stiches. Often I catch my Dh playing with the self threading button, spitting out lots of cotton.
Curious minds want to know what hilarious things you've been up to, also. My hubby always gives me that look, and we both laugh. I have spent literally hours looking for something that was lost to only find it when I stopped looking!
